Guillaume Bijl's installations present a fabricated reality. His compositions are made up of objects related to our consumer society, he creates 'compositions trouvée' or found compositions. Bijl collects objects and presents them as artworks.

In his Sorry series, Bijl explores the boundaries of the absurd, while maintaining a sense of humor.

Bijl's inspiration comes from reality: "I constantly find kitsch elements in reality, I want to show those elements in a realistic manner. I assess mass culture and show little bits of our society."
